Treat the Cause with a Holistic Approach
The Holistic approach to healing, understands that to truly heal, we need to look at the interconnectedness and the dynamic play of all parts of the life, the physical, emotional and mental bodies and the enlivening presence of the soul. The understanding that if we only treat the symptoms of an illness we will not be fully cured and therefore we must look to the cause of the disease, and how we have created the illness whether from stress, fear, accident or carelessness.
If we abuse our body it will eventually deteriorate and illness appear whether its is caused by physical damage or whether we mentally drain our body from exhaustion. We must treat the cause not the Symptoms. In so taking responsibility for our actions and lives is a fundamental awareness.

Finding What works? Alternative Methods & Herbal Healing
This section Highlights the Alternative Techniques available for Healing. This includes the use of Devices Like the "Zapper", Liver Flushes and the use of the of healing plants, Over the coming weeks i will build up an extensive list of medicinal herbs and how to use them.
But first some simple starters
For thousands of years man has been using common plants to improve his health, Chinese medicine is growing in popularity and is even used by NHS doctors for certain cases. Western medicine turned its back on medicinal herbs in favour of chemical drugs. Many modern day drugs were derived from native plants aspirin was derived from meadowsweet a plant found throughout Europe.
An understanding of the healing properties of native plants has been lost to but a few herbalists. These people retain the wisdom of the ages.

Focus on your Improving Health and 'Attract' Good Health
The true cure to disease is in believing you will be well and focusing on good health, NOT FOCUSING ON THE DISEASE ITSELF.

The Law of Attraction

This is the real Secret to Wellness,
The idea that we create our lives is not so difficult to understand, we can all see that our attitude shapes the way we view things in our daily life, but to realise that we attract into our lives whatever we our holding as our attention is a much larger step. None of us would say that we have attracted an disease, but the reality is that by holding emotions and beliefs like 'i am not worthy as i am and must strive to achieve my goals' we cause negative thoughts that resonate in our beings, we don't have to even say them out loud.

If you are religious you may well have a problem believing it , although it does agree that there are other dimensions no physical beings potentially a "god", it dispels the myth created by man in the formal structures and constraints of religions like christianity and islam. The truth is that man created the Bible and the original principals taught by teachers like jesus and Mohammed have long been distorted by religions throughout time.

There is no need to take my word for it!

I didn't discover this law on my own. There has been many people through out time that have taught these beliefs Leonardo DaVinci, Albert Einstein, Issac Newton but today we have opportunity to hear and understand these laws from someone much better placed to explain them, There name is Abraham

The recent book /dvd called "The Secret" is based on the law of attraction, though it has never really been as Secret more that we have forgotten our original intension that we set forth when we began physical life on this planet earth.
This book "The secret" is really just a good introduction to the law and leaves quite a few unanswered questions, if you really want to understand the laws you are much better off by hearing from the Source of the information, The book was based on the teachings of Abraham & Hicks, they have provided free MP3 downloads of 'An introduction to Abraham' available here. I urge you to listen to them all in order, they make compelling and astounding listening. But if you want a sneak preview, you can hear Abraham below.

Real Herbal Teas

15 of the Best Herbal Teas

Here is selection of my personal favourite Herbal Teas and there medicinal qualities. (In no particular order)

1) Hawthorn Berries. One of the best tonic remedies for the Heart and Circulatory system. The berries will move the heart to a normal function in a gentle way. If you have any heart problems you should seriously consider taking Hawthorn berries as soon as possible. They have a subtle flavour and are best boiled as a decoction.

2) Elder Berry. The berries contain high levels of Vitamin C and therefore excellent in the treatment of Colds and Flu. The berries have a rich colour and pleasant flavour. As with Hawthorn they are best boiled as a Decoction.

3) Rose hip. The hips are another good source of Vitamin C. They have a more fruity flavour than elder berries and make a fresh tea.

4) Skullcap. This herb has a calming action on the nervous system, It has a relaxing effect on the body without making you drowsy. The leaves can be made into a tea and it has a refreshing and uplifting flavour.

5)
Chamomile. The tea is used for its relaxing, calming and anti inflammatory properties

6) Licorice. This plant root is best know when mixed with sugar to make the confectionery "Licorice" but the Root of the Plant makes an excellent tea. It can be used for bronchial problems, catarrh, and coughs in general. Its flavour makes it useful as a natural sweetener for teas. It is best used Milled (finely chopped) as a tea and together with Skullcap it makes a refreshing tea.

7) Ginger - Ginger tea is excellent for digestion problems, bad circulation and cramps. the fresh root can be finely chopped and added to boiling water. As a carminative it promotes gastric secretion and ids used in dyspepsia, flatulence and colic.

8)
Fennel - Fennel seeds make a refreshing tea which is excellent for problems of the intestine and stomach. It has a calming effect on bronchitis and coughs. It has a pleasant aniseed flavour

9) Peppermint - I personally am not that keen on the smell of peppermint tea but its many herbal properties make it an essential addition to the kitchen. It volatile oils have a mild anaesthetic effect on the stomach wall. It is also useful in the treatment of colds and Flu. It is useful in treating migraine headaches associated with digestion.

10) Cleavers - My personal preferred method to take Cleavers or Goose grass is by taking the fresh green parts of the plant, add to fresh water in a clean bucket covered over with a cloth. Leave overnight and strain in the morning. This makes a more palette able drink than a tea made with boiling water. Cleavers works on the lymphatic system and therefore makes a good detox drink.

11)
Poke Root - This root can be boiled as a lymphatic tonic, it has no particular flavour but is highly emetic and should be only used in small amounts. Uses similar to Cleavers.

12) Celery Seed - The tea made from the seeds is one of the best kidney flush tonics i know. As such i dont use it regularly as a herbal tea only when i am doing a kidney flush regime.

13) Dandelion - A tea can be made from either the leaves or the root of the plant, the later being the stronger. There are over 260 different varieties of Dandelion in the United Kingdom and any all of them can be used to make a tea or the leaves can be used in a salad, but beware they have a bitter taste stronger than chicory. The tea is also bitter and stimulates bile flow and therefore is a good liver tonic, It can be used in the treatment of Gall stones.

14) Echinacea - This tea can also be made from the leaves or the root of the plant. It is excellent in helping the body rid its self of microbial infections. It may be used against both viral and bacterial attacks. I use it with Elder berries and Licorice as a preventative remedy against cold and flu, and i have not suffered from a cold or flu in over a year now.

15)
Yarrow - Yarrow has a taste and flavour all of its own and is not to everyone's taste. I am particularly fond of Yarrow as i live near the south downs in the UK and can be found freely growing everywhere. It is one of the best remedy in aiding the body to deal with fevers. It stimulates the digestion and tones the blood vessels.

You can purchase dried Herbs in the UK from Neal's Yard Remedies

If you want to buy in larger amounts Organic Herb Trading co.

When ever using Herbs care should be taken in case of any allergic reaction or miss use.
